Parliament resumes sitting without Speaker

Parliament in Zambia has begun sitting after it suspended the sitting in March were it also stripped former PresidentRupiah Banda of his immunity.
The sitting resumed on Tuesday at 14:30 hours and begun looking at questions for oral answers.
The house received new members, Daniel Mukombwe who took his oath as MP after being apointed Deputy Minister for Southern Province.
Others who took oath are Eddie Musonda who is PF  Kapiri Mposhi MP  and Misheck Mutelo who bounces back though under UPND after his seat under MMD was nullified.
The House was however without the  Speaker  Dr. Patrick Matibini and Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba who were at the centre of attention on the last day of  sitting  after tabling the motion to lift Rupiah Banda’s immunity.
This sitting will however be at the spotlighht as people will anxietly wait to see if government will take among them the constiution and  Acess to Information Bill also called Freedom of Information bill which government promised to table by June.
