Pamela Chisumpa’s alleged abductors to undergo mental examination

The Lusaka High Court has adjourned the case in which the abductors of Airtel Money Agent Pamela Chisumpa and 12 others were supposed to take plea, citing medical reasons by the defence’s counsel.

This follows an application made by Cozwell Ngoma lawyer representing the accused, James Bwalya and Matthew Sikaonga who asked that the court allows one of the accused to undergo a medical checkup following some physical pains he was experiencing.

In the other application, the legal counsel representing the duo applied that the accused undergo mental checkups so that the court can deliver a free and fair justice.
