Opinion: Why HH will win this election?

Hakainde Hichilema commonly known as HH the president of UPND has always been in the background of 3 past elections making soft noise. Many said he was a political novice at the time, while other political parties accused him of tribalism even when it was clear that it was them who were the worst tribalists this country has ever seen.
He’s unifying spirit, principles, and policies have seen the UPND grow from strength to strength each passing election, with many rubbishing the “tribalism” tag as mare propaganda. Many have seen that he has a great achievement record due to serious individual hard work.
I don’t know what sort of maths the other camps are using but my simple analysis shows that HH has an upper hand in the forthcoming elections. It is much more easier for him to win than to lose.
Let us do a quick analysis: with North Western, Western, Southern and Central provinces likely to be scooped by HH, it requires, therefore, that Northern, Luapula, Muchinga, Eastern, Lusaka and Copperbelt provinces only give as much as 50-50 share of votes then he is home and dry.
50-50 on the Copperbelt or Northern or Muchinga was unthinkable a few years ago…but be reminded that this is the UPND that won its first Copperbelt seat while Sata was still alive…and things were not even as favorable as today…so this is a very achievable figure.
The massive and much appreciated MMD support has also helped break barriers, Eastern is looking “Zambia Forward”, Muchinga, Luapula, Copperbelt and Northern are looking more “Zambia Forward” than ever…the spirit of Oneness has gripped the nation.
HH’s Kitwe rally
If we look at the Kitwe rally yesterday, it speaks volumes, it shows you that our brothers have realized that we don’t put tribe on the table at dinner but food…and if there is a man who can help put food on that table, regardless of his region of origin, why not support him??
This makes it easier to have a 50-50 share or even better because people have rejected to be fooled.
On the other hand, the PF have shown that they really take Zambians for fools. They have shown that they have always had the power to better the lives of others but arrogantly refused because they are simply bad hearted and clueless. They had the power to reinstate the nurses. They had the Power to recognize Sosala…but it had to take an election and pressure from HH for them to do this. Because people now can read between the lines, PF is more doomed than ever before.
