Donald Trump

Barack Obama once said that no one wins an election until the votes have been counted. Not before.

Ted Cruz has dropped out of the Republican race for President of the United States after being wired by Donald Trump in the Indiana primary election leaving Trump as the presumptive nominee for the candidacy of the Republican Party.

The pundits, the pollsters, political commentators, political historians all wrote Trump off. They said he had no chance. He is a rubblerouser, a guy who insults, who use fear, a guy with no proper policies and a guy with no political experience: a total outsider. But the voters have a completely different view of Mr Trump. Umutwe wa voter nichalo chimbi.

Voter sajailika, Temunobe. While you might be belabouring with policy matters, telling him to vote for a party or candidate who can improve his welfare with regards to health, education, employment, wealth creation to him all these issues might be secondary. Actually to him he might be used to poverty and suffering and actually might have no problem with the existing mediocre leadership. A voter may vote for you or vote against you based on such FLIMSY and VEXATIOUS grounds like your Tribe, Beer, Chitenge, T-Shirt, lies or simply to maintain the status quo ati ebobashiile, or iyayi let him finish his term of office. A voter can even find excuses to defend a failing government or a mediocre leadership. A voter can defend loadshedding, defend the high cost of leaving, defend the corruption, defend all the social, political and economic degradation going on ati iyayi Mulungu che ndiye azakasiliza ma problem yathu. Awe sure Voter Temunobe

    • That’s why you Antonio and your madam Nawakwi should have joined forces with HH to beat these Poverty Fabricators (PF) clean at 80% landslide victory. But your madam wants paka to rule. Hah! That woman! Both FDD and UPND have very similar aspirations on governance and vision and madam should have said ok HH, I will deputise you so that in 2021 or 2026 I take over from you. That means 10 years as veep and another 10 years as Presido. She is in too much in a hurry as if she left something hanging when she was finance minister. What I like particularly about FDD although I am a UPND supporter is the decentralisation of provinces which I haven’t heard UPND talk about much (maybe I should take time to read their manifesto). But I like the way Nawakwi talks about it clearly as though the most important positions will be heads of provinces where things will be happening and not central government. This means the national cake will be distributed equally amongst provinces for each province to use their brains to share it appropriately. This means that even the national cake of corruption (corruption can never be eliminated completely) will be shared equally among provinces unlike the current situation where only a small gang around the president shares the national cake based on tribe or friendship or family relationship. Rethink your position.

  2. A lot of pf caders always say that mulungu ndiye azasili ma problems yantu, a normal person made in the image of God can’t utter such nonsense,do you expect God to come and build hydro dams for your loadshedding to come to an end, do expect God to come till the land for you to produce food, when he has given you land and rain, do people understand what it means to be created in the image of God really? People should be serious with life. Iyayi tazavotela che wamene uyu, kaili kulibe muntu azasiliza ma problem yatu, that is total bullcrap.
