No fuel for three days in Livingstone

A serious fuel shortage has hit Livingstone, and the tourist capital has not had the commodity for three days.

A check by Zambian Eye found that all the service stations had no fuel and it was not known when the commodity will be available.

“It is bad, we have gone for three days now without fuel,” a motorist told Zambian Eye. “Business is grounding down because how do you work without transport? We are just parking the cars.”

Energy Minister Dora Siliya last week had assured the nation that the fuel situation would normalise this week.

Opposition UPND president Hakainde Hichilema a fortnight ago told the nation that the PF government had no money to pay the fuel suppliers.
