Ndola based Slykm wins Award in London

A Ndola based company Slykm Steel has won the 2018 International Business Initiative Direction  (BID) quality Awards held on the 19th November in London United Kingdom.

Slykm Steel a privately Zambian owned was crowned winner of the prestigious Award at a Gala night in London yesterday.

The company specializes in manufacturing and supply of President painted and galvanized roofing sheets, PVC ceiling, Poceillain tiles, steel nails and all types of steel.

Mr Mathews Phiri and Mrs. Slyvia Phiri the company’s Managing Director and Director respectively received the diamond award  for quality cultural on behalf of the company.

  1. Definitely a scam. B.I.D. (Business Initiative Directions) is like a small advertising company or something like that, registered in Spain . In recent years has been devoted to send such communications to small businesses worldwide.

    They tell you that your company won an award of excellence and they offer international recognition. If you sign up to receive the award you are asked to pay them 3,900 euro and they will pay the hotel room for two days.

    There are companies that fall into this. These companies pay and receive a certificate and a trophy. This award has no value since B.I.D., a non-recognized firm, makes easy money by giving these awards. Apparently, you can not report this scam, because companies are not required to pay this money. Companies pay voluntarily. It’s an easy way to make money for them.
