My home town beauty pageant finalists tour Cape Town

Organisers of My Home Town Beauty Pageant have given a rare treat, a tour to Cape Town to finalists of the $50,000 with a car worth event, reports Zambian Eye Correspondent.

My Home Town is a Zambian Charity organisation founded by Choma born Business Mogul James Ndambo.

The over 50 selected finalists ages between 30 and 60 years will battle for the $50, 000 and a car prize on July 2, 2022 in Choma. They have been in Cape Town, South Africa on a-10-day-tour.

The tour ends today and was meant to give the Pageants a Treat and Experience of the Bigger World of fashion.

According to Organisers, the tour was also aimed at giving the Pageants an experience of International brands at first hand, meet and greet with Top level celebrities, exchange of culture and traditions. Further the finalists to have good time to bond as pageants with the mentors and team leads.

The finalists also visited a number of important sites and places among them Ruben Island where South Africa founding President Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years.
