Mundende confirmed as ZESCO boss

Acting ZESCO Managing Director Victor Mundende has been confirmed as the state utility company’s Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

Energy minister Dora Siliya confirmed to ZNBC news that Mundende is now the Managing Director for ZESCO.

Siliya says government has decided to confirm Mundende who has been acting in the position for nine months because he has proved himself as a capable manager during the energy crisis the country is facing.

The Minister is confident that Mundende will continue to position ZESCO as an efficient service provider and address the challenges the energy sector is facing.

Siliya wished Mundende the best in his position.
