Mulenga Sata apologise for declaring presidential ambition during mourning period

Late President Michael Sata’s son Mulenga has apologized for any inconvenience his declaration of his presidential ambitions may have caused.

Mr Sata who is also Lusaka Mayor has since with immediate restrained all his supporters from chanting or singing any songs aimed at positioning him for the presidency.

Mr. Sata told journalists yesterday that he regrets any inconvenience his intentions to take over from his father may have caused.

On Saturday, 1st November,2014 at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Mulenga Sata told the Post Newspaper that he is ready to take over Presidential duties from his father.

He said that he is a servant of the people and will rise to the challenge should he be elected to Presidency. Mulenga has also revealed that he expects a young candidate to represent the Patriotic Front during the by-elections.
