MMD President Dr. Nevers Mumba says the party will fight till the last blood to retain all the four parliamentary seats lost through nullifications by the courts of law.
Dr. Mumba said the MMD will fight to return all the seats it lost due to the unprecedented number of court petitions of the 2011 elections which has seen a record number of by-elections.
The opposition leader said many Zambians are angry with the PF for creating unnecessary by-elections and diverting the much needed resources towards holding elections as opposed to using it for development.
Dr Mumba predicted that people will use the by-elections to show the PF that it was a mistake to entrust the governance of the nation in their hands as can be evidenced by its poor record in government.
He added that it is unprecedented for a country to have so many by-elections and that the money being used to organize by-elections could be used to improve the lives of people.
And MMD Mkushi South MMD candidate Sydney Chisanga has declared himself ready to return the seat he lost after his election victory was nullified.

Mr. Chisanga who is also Central Province MMD Chairperson was also accompanied by provincial Chairlady, party Chairperson for Local Government Rose Banda, Chairperson for International Affairs and some district officials and party cadres.
