Minister Kambwili threatens a showdown in today’s Cabinet meeting

Minister of Youth and Sports and PF founder member, Chishimba Kambwili has threatened to cause chaos in today’s special cabinet meeting, reports Correspondent in Lusaka.

The outspoken Minister was speaking this morning to PF Supporters.

“Lelo balemubweseshya Edgar Lungu ama instruments (Today they will give Edgar Lungu the instruments of power),” Kambwili vowed.

Acting President Guy Scott has called an emergency Cabinet Meeting on Friday 31st October 2014.

Kambwili is alleged to have said that Attorney General Musa Mwenye should be arrested for forcing Wednesdays Cabinet to pick Scott as Acting President and force Edgar Lungu to handover instruments of power.

He says the role of the Attorney General is advisory and a mere ex – official of Cabinet saying what he did on Wednesday was unacceptable.

Kambwili has stated that Cabinet should today make Edgar Lungu as Acting President until a competent court of law interprets the current confusion.
“Balechimona lelo. Tayapwe  Cabinet Meeting mpaka bamupele Edgar (They retain the powers to Edgar otherwise the meeting will not end) “.

He said that Guy Scott and Musa Mwenye should count themselves lucky that he was not available on Wednesday when Cabinet met to discuss the issue of Acting President.
