Earth tremor hits parts of Zambia

The Norther part of Zambia Sunday evening around 8pm experienced an Earth tremor that caused panic among residents.
“Chilubi island hit by the small magnitude earthquake. No report of casualties of fallen building yet. But the walls shook violently,” says Athen Mukofu.
A Kasama Resident says; “In Kasama we just experianced a tremor,it was as if the house was about to fall.
Other provinces affected include Solwezi in North Western province, Ndola, Kitwe and Chililabombwe on the Copperbelt province. The same was experimented in Mansa, Luapula province.
Mpika in the new created province of Muchinga also experienced the Earth movement.
