Lusambo sticks to Nevers, says MMD is doomed under RB

The recent events in our beloved party the Movement for Multi Party Democracy have given us space to reflect on the political direction that we are headed.
Instead of sustaining the New Hope Campaign, we find ourselves fighting legal disputes that are taking the steam off our campaigns.
Our members and the general leadership of our movement have been receiving inquiries that seem to suggest that we might be reconsidering our position in the MMD.
We wish to reassure the general public that we are still committed to the ideals and values of the MMD and the leadership of Dr Nevers Sekwila Mumba.
We are the MMD Die Hard Youth Wing and we shall continue to protect the MMD against vultures seeking to ransack the party.
The public should be reminded that our conviction about the MMD and its leadership is not driven by monetary gains or short term benefits but by a strong belief that the MMD under Dr Mumba holds the best promise for the realisation of Zambia’s development potential.
When we resisted the return of Rupiah Banda into the MMD, some people thought we were being malicious towards the Old man but the hostility with which he has found the political terrain since announcing his comeback confirms what we have always said about Mr Banda that he cannot win an election.
We have information that Mr Banda faced serious resistance in Kabwe yesterday when he attempted to launch his campaigns in the district forcing to his team to abandon the trip and return to Lusaka.
The writings are clearly on the wall that under Mr Banda, the MMD will be doomed beyond reconstruction.
