Lupita Nyong’o named People’s Most Beautiful Woman

Maintaining the status quo is the Oscar’s winning actress Lupita Nyong’o from being named the best dressed at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, being honored with the ‘ Best performance’ for the role she played in 12 years a Slave….at the luncheon of Essence magazine’s seventh annual Black Women in Hollywood.

The Oscar winner is also the face of Lancôme Paris and more and more roles keep flowing on her lap as she is said to be taking a role in the upcoming thriller “ Who Shot The Sheriff”…also hanging out with most popular celebrities like Rhianna and rubbing heads with fellow Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence.

Lupita is proud of her achievement, even admitting it by saying: “My mother always said I was beautiful. I finally believed her at some point.”

With the emotional touching accepting speech at this year’s Oscar awards it’s no surprise People’s magazine has named her: – People’s Most Beautiful Woman of the year”.

She humbly said, she was very excited for the news to be announced, not just for her benefit, but for all the young girls in the world; “ All the girls who would see me and ….feel a little more seen.”
