Lungu’s Presidential empowerment questioned

Some youths in Ndola have questioned who the intended beneficiaries of the Presidential Youth Empowerment program are.

They say the program is seemingly being conducted in a selective manner.

About a month ago President Edgar Lungu launched a K470 million youth empowerment program meant to benefit about 150,000 youths across the country.

However, some youths are questioning the criteria being used.

The youths talked to by Diamond TV in Ndola have charged that they have not seen any benefit as it seems as a selective program only for those inclined to the ruling Patriotic Front.

Some have accused government of not being transparent in the disbursement of the said funds.
