Lungu’s family takes matter to SA ConCourt

The family of late former President Edgar Lungu has now taken the matter of his burial to the South African Constitutional Court.

Earlier today the family through their new lawyer requested for time upto Monday from the High Court in order to have an opportunity for an outside court negotiation.

The High Court which ruled in favour of the Zambian government last Friday to have Lungu’s body repartriated back home for burial and today was supposed to hear the family application for appeal adjourned to Monday.

But later documents of the family taking the matter to Constitutional Court emerged.
