Lungu’s Ally Museveni goes door to door for tax rent registration

President Edgar Lungu’s ally Yoweri Kagunta Museveni of Uganda has instructed Revenue Authority officers to register landlords for rent tax.

According to a public notice published in the local media, President Museveni has ordered officers to go door to door to register all landlords for tax.

In Zambia, the Zambia Revenue Authority has ordered that all landlords must register for rent tax by June 2018.

And that all bank account holders must register or obtain Trading / Transaction Personal Identity Number (TPIN) by June 2018.
