Long bad day for Kambwili as he collapses at court

Opposition NDC shadow leader Chishimba Kambwili had another stressful day on Wednesday that he ended up collapsing at the Magistrate court.

Kambwili who was appearing in court in a case where he is charged with 34 counts of being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime by the Anti-Corruption Commission and has been under police custody though hospitalised since Thursday had to be carried to the vehicle when he collapsed at court.

The Magistrate court granted him a K10,000 bail with two working sureties and ordered that his passport be repossessed from him. But the state rejected one of the sureties.

Kambwili spent almost the whole day at court and in the process collapsed and had to be rushed to the University Teaching Hospital. He has been under heavy police guard.

Among the notables at the court was leading opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema and his deputy.

  5. That stomach is a sign of some illness. That is not normal. Let Kambwili exercise and stop drinking Mosi, eating nshima, chips. The doctors should advise this man what to eat and what not to eat. It is clear he has been very careless. Lungu is not the reason for his problem of collapsing. It is himself. He has been calling for disaster on himself. Uku siku ina koma ni matenda.
