Local Online Real Estate Marketplace Expands in Zambia
Lamudi Expands to Ndola, Kitwe, and Livingstone
Recently, the number one online real estate marketplace Lamudi expanded its coverage in Zambia to include Ndola, Chipata, and Livingstone.
This means that Lamudi Zambia now has a presence in about five provinces in Zambia and is looking to expand even further. This expansion is aimed at ensuring that most Zambians are able to search, buy or sell property at their convenience.
Lamudi Zambia’s Managing Director, Mustafa Suleimanji said, “Lamudi wants to be wherever people are searching for property, be it in the Copperbelt, Eastern Province or Southern Province. Real estate can be a reflection of the market around it, and there are great and affordable properties to be found outside of Lusaka. Zambians are always looking for new investments – we want to make sure they know about these opportunities.”
Real estate development in Zambia is definitely on a rise as more people are seeking to invest in real estate with more areas being developed for this purpose. With a very rich cultural background that attracts people from all over the country as well as tourists to witness the commemoration of the N’cwala Traditional Ceremony, Chipata is fast becoming one of the best cities in Zambia to settle in. Others look to Chipata for purposes of investing in farming due to the city’s arable farming soils.
The major mining taking place in Ndola is pushing more people looking to invest and work in the mining sector to settle there as well. A lot more people prefer to settle in the tourist capital of Zambia, Livingstone as more development is taking place there.
