Kenyan University bans inappropriate dress code for students

Kenyan Methodist University has banned students from wearing inappropriate clothes.

The university has banned male students from having dreadlocks, plaited hair, wearing earrings, hats, caps and vests that show their chests.

Female students have been banned from wearing mini skirts, bare backs, see through clothes, body tight trousers, tumbo cut.

In September last year, the University of Lusaka (UNILUS) introduced a dress code guideline that seeks to manage the appearance of students on compus.

Some of dress code banned by UNILUS is sagging, wearing of ripped jeans, short skirts and many other things.
