KBF faces arrest for ‘proposing violence’

Prominent Lusaka Lawyer and PF presidential hopeful Kelvin Bwalya better known as KBF is being investigated by police and may be arrested soon.

According to a widely circulated letter by Police, they have asked Prime TV Management to avail them with footage of KBF’s book launch where he allegedly proposed violence.

The letter which was addressed letter to Prime TV’s editor-in-chief dated April 26, 2019 by Lusaka urban deputy criminal investigations officer M. Chikuba asked Prime TV to surrender the video footage to facilitate investigations.

“This office is carrying investigations into the alleged offense of proposing violence in respect of the launch of the book which was carried by the prominent Lusaka lawyer Mr Kelvin Bwalya Fube on 22nd April 2019. In order to spearhead our inquiries in this regard, we are requesting for the video recording that your media house covered on the material day. Your usual cooperation will be highly appreciated,” Chikuba wrote.

And when contacted for comment KBF said everyone must keep the faith and keep on believing.

On Tuesday April 23 2019, KBF announced that he shall challenge President Edgar Lungu on the position of party President and subsequently become PF Presidential Candidate in 2021.

But PF Lusaka Province Chairman Paul Moonga challenged KBF to stop growing big headed as he is just a junior member of the party.
