Kambwili, Musenge court case on today

The case were Chishimba Kambwili and Mwenya Musenge are battling for the ownership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party comes up this morning.

Musenge, the former NDC secretary general, has dragged Kambwili and Bridget Atanga to court to stop them from “masquerading” as NDC leader and secretary general respectively.

The case will be heard at the Lusaka high court Chambers and is before judge Ruth Chibbabuka.

When the case came up on the 5th June 2019 lawyers representing Kambwili and Bridget Atanga made an application for the case to be thrown out as it lacks merit.

Judge Chibbabuka asked for time to allow her study the applications made by the lawyers and adjourned the case.

Court session is scheduled to begin at 09:00 hours.
