Kabimba’s dismissal just one of PF circuses – Moono

Former ABZ National Chairman Dexter Zemba Moono has disclosed that the dismissal of Wynter Kabimba from his position as Justice Minister is not a surprise to many Zambians as it  is just one of those circus drama of the PF which Zambian are accustomed to since the party`s inception.

Moono told SKY FM News in Choma today that there is no need  for the masses in the Country to celebrate the dismissal of Kabimba but urged the public to reflect on whether his dismissal was done in the best interest of the Nation or a just a mere PF circus of leadership wrangles that have recently engulfed the ruling Party.

The Former ABZ Chairperson appealed to the people of Zambia to wait and see if there will be any changes on contentious issues such as the progress on the constitution making process which the PF promised but are now refusing to give the people and the continued release of still pictures from State House on the Head Of State.

Moono disclosed that the public has viewed the dismissal of Kabimba as one of the circus that Zambian people are being subjected to because they don’t think that the decision was made in national interest but due to the internal leadership wrangles within the ruling PF.

He further disclosed that either Kabimba is kicked out of the party the leadership wrangles in the party will continue and the Pf will never fulfil its 90 days promises it made to the people of Zambia

He further disclosed that the firing of Kabimba will soon see the decision backfiring on certain members of the party and Government officials if not handled carefully

He charged that the people of Zambia were not interested in the change and firing of ministers but were more concerned on their welfare such as  having a better conditions of living

Moono further disclosed that the dismissal of Kabimba was not done in good  faith as the President was supposed to hold a media briefing to explain to the people of Zambia than just circulating a circular to the public on the dismissal of Kabimba as he held the third rank in the land

He also said if the decision was made in national interest then the PF will provide the constitution to Zambians in record time which they promised to deliver within 90days and that people viewed Mr. Kabimba as a major obstacle hence headways should be made now that he is gone.

Moono therefore called on the Republican President in the interest of the nation to provide the constitution to the Zambian people in record time which they promised in 90 days as the majority viewed Kabimba as a major stumbling block especially that this process was within his jurisdiction as Minister of Justice

Moono further disclosed that the people of Zambia wants change in the governance of the country and not in the manner the PF was running the affairs of this nation on an auto pilot where the Head Of State is not seen in public for months and these are some of the clauses which Kabimba failed to interpret to the people of Zambia as what happens if the president fails to discharge his duties and fails to be seen in public for months what should the people of Zambia do and what does the laws of the land states.
