JUST IN: Monze, Choma, join Namwala mourn resident magistrate

Prominent and Namwala resident magistrate Richard Chikalanga has dead.

The renowned legal practitioner died yesterday, while more details regarding his death are yet to emerge, sympathy messages have continued to pour in.

Meanwhile, condolence messages have been pouring in, to the late Chikalanga’s family, as friends, members of the public and past colleagues express sorrow and shock on his death.

Commenting on the sad news, Justine Ngosa said; “This is a big, unexpected blow to family and friends. I’ve lost a good friend and comrade. Former St. Edmund’s. I’ll dearly miss you, rest in peace Richard.”

Titus Kawama who once worked with him says; “Oh no! My heartfelt condolences to the family! I worked with him in Zambezi.”

Another former workmate said; “I called him Junior Counsel as we would joke on our Call Day, oh boy he made us smile through and through. Rest in Peace Hon. Richard Muundu Kandyanta Chikalanga.”

Nkumbula Raymond says;

“Sad day for the legal fraternity, family and the country at large. He executed my case fairly, timely and diligently.

“I will leave to remember you magistrate. Go well you have surely run your race we are the ones left.”
