Jailed Lusambo found guilty

Former Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo and 3 others have been found guilty of unlawful assembly by the Kabwe Subordinate Court.

In the case in question, Lusambo and others are said to have conducted themselves in a manner likely to cause public disorder.

The offence is said to been committed in November 2023 at Brimas in Kabwe town centre.

Delivering the judgement Magistrate Gloria Chipasha has however aquitted Mathews Changwe who was jointly charged with the now convicts.

Lusambo, on the other hand, is currently serving a jail term for other offenses for which he was convicted, among them being in possession of tainted property.
