Isaac Chipampe is the new Presidential Spokesperson

President Edgar Lungu has appointed Isaac Chipampe as the new Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations, replacing Amos Chanda who resigned last week.

According to a PF-run Facebook page, Smart Eagles,  Chipampe was until his appointment serving as Director for Press and Media Development at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

He also previously served as Managing Editor of the government owned Daily Mail.

The new Presidential Spokesperson is due to be sworn in this morning at State House.
