Investor to set up medical training institution in Chibombo

An Indian Investment company has shown interst in setting up a medical training institution in Chibombo District of Central Province.

According to Provincial Minister Sydney Mushanga, the Indian investor has assured the provincial adminstration that it will invest in a multipurpose medical center in Chibombo District. 

Mushanga further says the Investor will also set up  a dialysis machine manufacturing plant in the at the same facility.

In an interview with this publication, Mushanga said  land has already been secured in Chibombo District and that once the training institution and the plant is set, it will add value to the economic development of the health sector in the country.

The provincial minister says the production of the dialysis machines once set up will assist health institutions that do not have such machines to acquire them at a minimal fee.

Mushanga also says the Indian investor will partner with the Ministry of Health and see how they can work together in effective health service delivery to the Zambian people.

Central Province is one of Zambia’s ten provinces.
