Model Ruth Mukanga 21 who featured on a leaked video with Muscian Robert Chungu aka Bobby East has apologised.

The duo featured in a 12 minutes video many have described as boring having unprotected sex. The video was over in the social media over the weekend.

But Ruth through her manager on Thursday asked for forgiveness.

“Please accept my deepest apologies for my mistake in regard to the reports that have been going on in the last few days,” she said. “It wasn’t my intention to create such an awkward and embarrassing situation. This is probably the hardest thing I have ever experienced in life.”

Ruth a student at NIPA in Lusaka said she was thankful to the people who have been trying to help her through this difficult time.

“I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones,” she stated. “I have never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this traumatic journey with me.”

“I’m sorry if I have hurt anybody especially millions of my fellow youths, elders and everyone affected by this but I believe I will live with it for the rest of my life,” she concluded.
