I won’t force you to join PF, Lungu tells North Westerners

President Edgar Lungu says he will not force people in North Western Province to join the PF because Zambia is a democracy where people have the right to belong to any political grouping, reports ZNBC.

And President Lungu says he will not compromise on development and will take development to all corners of the country regardless of the political affiliation of people in those areas.

The Head of State however, said the PF is a party of choice ready to receive and work with all Zambians in its quest to develop the nation.

President Lungu is in Solwezi, North -Western Province for a three day working visit.

The Head of State is scheduled to officiate at the ground breaking ceremony to mark the start of works for the upgrading of the Solwezi – Chingola Road.

Later in the afternoon the President was expected to be at Solwezi boma to flag off the construction of township roads and inspect the construction of fuel reserve tanks in the region.
