Grand Coalition welcomes the releasing of draft constitution

The Grand Coalition on the Campaign for a People Driven Constitution welcomes the decision by the Government to release the long awaited Final Draft Constitution to the Public.
This gesture by the government to release the Draft Constitution is timely and commendable.
It is also good that the Minister of Justice, Hon. Edgar Lungu, has kept his words of releasing the Draft constitution during the Jubilee celebrations.
This is good for confidence and trust building among stakeholders in the constitution making process.
The Grand Coalition is, however, studying the released Draft Constitution and would give a detailed reaction and position on the Draft Constitution on Monday, 27th October, 2014 when it holds its Press briefing, which will be open to all.
