Grade 12 requirement knocks Kabimba out of presidential race

Rainbow Party leader Wynter Kabimba this week pulled out of the presidential race, amid reports that most of those who applied to stand on his party ticket fell short on the grade 12 requirement.

It is said that only 2 percent have grade 12, so he has withdrawn from the race.

The outspoken politician says he could not be in State House as President without MPs.

Kabimba a former Secretary General for PF has hinted on consulting whether to dissolve his party or go into an alliance after he got only 2 percent qualified applicants for Parliamentary seat.

Meanwhile, speaking at the Patriotic Front general conference held virtually recently, Kabimba said his Party will continue to work with the PF in improving the livelihood of the Zambian people.

Apparently, indications from his recent sentiments points that he is likely going to work with the PF.
