Amidst escalating number of new cases even deaths of Covid-19 (C-19), Lusaka Clergy Bishop Simon Chihana has called on President Edgar Lungu to convene a thanks giving prayer Church service.

The escalating numbers are that God is not happy with Zambia, Bishop Chihana says Zambia did not thank God last year after he preserved it from C-19.

He says unlike many countries last year God protected Zambia from C-19 after the country held prayers.

Bishop Chihana who addressed President Lungu as his Brother told him that it not too late to call for prayers.

“Good morning Mr. President.

This is your brother Bishop Chihana.

My writing is with a realization that as a nation God took us through by His wings safely from the passed Covid-19, and indeed we had a testimony to share with our neighboring countries and beyond.

However what we all forgot to do was to congregate as people and hold a THANKSGIVING SERVICE specifically and especially to THANK the LORD for His faithfulness in sustaining us all and making Zambia a NUMBER ONE in Africa and fourth in the whole world.

This to me is a great testimony worth the collective THANKSGIVING and WORSHIP UNTO OUR GOD THROUGH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOUR.

I still feel it is not too late, we can still gather to THANK the LORD.

Remember the ten lepers that were cleansed of their leprosy and only one returned to go and THANK the LORD.

God bless you Sir.

From Bishop Simon Chihana.
