Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM)
The Economic and Financial Crimes (EFC) Court has found former Defense Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) with a case to answer.
This is in a matter in which Mwamba stands charged with corruption and money laundering allegations involving over 2.7 million dollars and K20 million.
On June 7, 2022, GBM was arrested by a joint investigations team and charged with 8 counts of Conflict of Interest and 19 counts of being in possession of property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
