Fridays Corner Bar destroyed by fire

A fire razed through and destroyed goods worth over K300,000 at Fridays Corner Bar and Restaurant in Mazabuka District, Southern Province.

According to proprietor, Friday Ng’andu the real cause of the fire is yet to be known, however he believes it could have started in the restaurant’s kitchen, within the same premises.

The Mazabuka Municipal Council fire brigade responded and managed to extinguish the blaze, which is believed to have started around 02:00 hours.
