Four traditional leaders from Southern Province have visited opposition UPND vice-president for administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba.
Mwamba, commonly known as GBM, was last week arrested and remanded in custody through out the weekend on charges of proposing violence contrary to the laws of Zambia. This is in connection with his perceived threat to go for President Lungu’s throat.
The Chiefs – Monze, Hamusonde, Nalubamba and Macha encouraged Mwamba to be strong.
Chief Nalubamba told GBM that many successful leaders experience what he is going through.
And GBM thanked the Chiefs for visiting him. He said the gesture was an indication that the people from Southern and Northern provinces would unite the country.
