Former president RB backs calls for inter-party talks

Former President Rupiah Banda has supported calls for an interparty dialogue.  Banda who was speaking through his Deputy Administrative Assistant, Kennedy Limwanya said this dialogue will help unite the contry.

He said such efforts would help the country move forward in united force.

His Assistant said the former President has always advocated for dialogue among politicians and the general citzenry.

Limwanya has meanwhile disclosed that the former President is always restraint to comment on political issues as he retired from active politics.

First republican President recently called for the need to hold an inter party dialogue the move which has been well received by different stakeholders including the Zambia Centre for Inter Party Dialogue (ZCID).
