The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has parted ways with previous National Division One League sponsors Eden University

According to a press release by FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala, EDEN University who has sponsored the league for four years, has therefore ceased to be the title sponsors of the league with immediate effect.

Kashala said the contract between the Association and Eden University has not been renewed adding that Eden University will no longer have naming rights to the National Division One League.

He has therefore advised clubs and other stakeholders not to use any Eden University material for marketing or publicity purposes at any given time as the league has returned to its initial status, the FAZ National Division One League.

Kashala thanked the university for partnering with the FAZ to promote soccer under an alliance which began in 2019.

Meanwhile, Livingstone Pirates will compete in the FAZ National Division One following the withdrawal of Games FC prior to the start of the 2022/23 season.
