ECZ improves results verification process

The Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) has with immediate effect modified and improved the process for the verification of results in all its service centres countrywide.

ECZ says this process modification is in a bid to reduce the visible queues in the service facilities and intended to enhance service delivery to the Zambian people especially with the onset of the rains in most parts of the country.

“The modification therefore, is to allow clients paying for verification of results only to deposit the verification fee with any registered ZANACO Express Agent and attach a deposit slip to the copy of the results.

“Clients will submit the copy of the results with the attached proof of payment at the Service Centre without completing the verification form which caused a lot of paper work in the entire process.

“Further, submission of requests for verification of results time and collection of verified copies of results as well as receipts has been modified.

“Requests for verification of results made in the morning between 08:30 hours and 13:00 hours will be processed and ready for collection the same day in the afternoon between 15:00 and 16:00 hours while requests made in the afternoon between 14:00 hours and 16:00 hours will be processed and ready for collection between 10:00 hours and 11:00 hours the following day,” says the examinations management body.

ECZ adds that it remains committed to quality service provision in line with its service charter and vision of an educational assessment body of excellence.
