Stanley Mhango the former Fodep President and Former Teaching service commission chairman has backed Citizens First President Harry Kalaba ahead of the 2026 elections.
In a statement Mhango said the proposal by Kalaba to improve conditions of service for public service workers in rural and remote areas is a step in the right direction.
He said If implemented, it will motivate workers and enhance service delivery.
“As someone who knows the monumental challenges which Government workers in hard- to – reach areas have faced for many years, I feel compelled to appreciate the political will being exhibited by the CF on the matter. I hope the party will not be able to backtrack on this promise ,when in power,” he said.
“I challenge the Citizens First Party to clearly outline the implementation strategy for this policy. I also urge other political parties to begin serious engagements with the electorate on real issues ,as the 2026 General Elections approaches,” Mhango said.
