United Party for National Development UPND president Hakainde Hichilema says the internet has given people a platform to speak up, communicate and be informed.
Hichilema points out that it has enhanced the power of the people, adding it is disheartening that dictators don’t like that.
He said that’s why they (dictators) will take that power away from citizens.
Apparently, the UPND leader says the August 12 election isn’t a competition between his party and President Edgar Lungu’s PF, but is actually between The Zambian people vs. PF Democracy vs. PF Good governance vs. PF A better economy vs. PF.
Hichilema also lambasted Lungu for trying to bar him from capaigning.
