Deputy Minister, MMD and FDD MPs join UPND

Eleven opposition Members of Parliament from MMD and FDD have joined UPND.

Sinda FDD MP Levy Ngoma, Chilanga’s Keith Mukata who is also Deputy Minister of Justice, Mumbwa’s Brian Chituwo, and Nalikwanda’s Professor Geoffrey Lungwangwa.

Others are Kasempa MP Kabinga Mpande, Moses Muteteka of Chisamba and Chris Kahila of Lukulu.

The rest include Zambezi East MP Sara Sayifwanda. Ikilengi MP, Elijah Muchima, Ndalamei Mundia for Sikongo and Situtumbeko Musokotwane.

The MPs joined the opposition UPND at a media briefing going on at Chainama Hotel.

Our Correspondent Mwaitita Lubinda who is covering the briefing says the serving MPs are being welcomed by UPND president Hakainde Hichilema.
