Deputy Minister apologises for serving in PF

Deputy Minister of Justice Keith Mukata has quit from President Lungu’s government.

Mukata who is also MMD Member of Parliament resigned his ministerial position today, Monday, March 14, 2016. He has since apologised to Zambians for accepting to serve in the PF government which he says is cursed.

Our Correspondent covering the media briefing where Mukata and 10 other MPs from MMD and FDD joined the UPND reports that the former Deputy Minister announced that he is endorsing the candidature of Hichilema.

“Am very sorry because I was trying to fish where there is no water, stupid me I was throwing in the mountain. Finally I have found my messiah, ” Mukata said amid hululation from UPND supporters.

Mukata said the people will have an opportunity on August 11 to vote out the PF which he said had failed them. He said Zambians will have themselves to blame if PF wins the election.
