D-Day for ex Lusaka Province Minister Lusambo

The former Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo is this morning expected to hear his judgment at the Kabwe Subordinate Court.

He stands accused of unlawful assembly at a restaurant in Kabwe, where he had stopped to buy a pie on his way from Luanshya to Lusaka and greeted a few supporters.

Lusambo, the former Kabushi Member of Parliament, is expected to be transported from Mwembeshi Prison by Zambia Correctional Service officers.

He is currently serving a jail term for other offenses for which he was convicted.

His co-accused persons in this case are residents of Kabwe, Central Province.
