Court gives an order stopping PF, it’s agents from defaming HH

The opposition UPND has obtained an injunction from the High Court stopping Patriotic Front (PF), it’s president Edgar Lungu, Secretary General Davis Chama or other agents from issuing any more defamatory statements against it’s presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema.

Lusaka High Court Judge, Mwila Chitambo states that if any agent of the PF, no matter whom and at what forum, will defame Hichilema, then Lungu and Chama will be jailed.

This follows a Court action where Hichilema sued Lungu, Chama and Bishop Eddie Chomba who during the Kabwe PF rally on Sunday.

The PF are free to challenge the injunction below bby end of January.
