Copper Queens quartet shortlisted for 2023 CAF awards

Copper Queens trio Captain Barbra Banda, Rachel Kundananji and Grace Chanda have made the 30-women shortlist for the 2023 CAF Women’s Player of the Year Award set for next month in Morocco.

Meanwhile, Catherine Musonda has also been shortlisted for the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year Award.

The Copper Queens have also been nominated for the CAF National Team of the Year Award alongside Burkina Faso, Burundi, Ghana, Malawi and Morocco.

Others are Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania.
