Chitimukulu never endorsed HH – UPND

UPND would like to correct the wrong impression created on the ZNBC news that His Royal Highness the Chitimukulu had endorsed the UPND Presidential candidate Mr Hakainde Hichilema.

The truth of the matter is that His Royal Highness welcomed President Hakainde Hichilema and his entourage and had wonderful and private discussions. This was when Mr Hichilema, as per tradition, paid a courtesy call on His Royal Highness.

UPND,  wish to reiterate that we shall not politicise traditional leadership like the PF has been doing since they came to power.

We believe that traditional leaders should be allowed to operate in a free environment as provided for in the constitution.
