The Copper Bullets (Chipolopolo) made a respectable exit from their flopped 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers after beating the Warriors of Zimbabwe away in Harare, last night.

Zambia were 2-0 away winners over Zimbabwe in the dead-rubber Group H qualifier, having had already bowed out of the finals set for Cameroon next year.

Patson Daka scored a brace in the 20th and 90th minutes to also see Zambia avenge a lingering grudge having lost the first leg by 2 goals to 1 at home in Lusaka on November 19,2019.

Meanwhile, the Copper Bullets finish third in Group H on 7 points, a point shy to Warriors who had already booked a place to the continental soccer showcase with a match to spare.

Zimbabwe joins the unbeaten defending champions and Group H leaders the Desert Foxes of Algeria who have 14 points.

The foxes put a lid to their Group H campaign on Monday night with a 5-0 massacre of log anchors Botswana at home in Blida.
