Chill and eat quietly, stop abusing the President’s name – Caller tells Lusambo

You must come down and stop abusing President Lungu’s name, a caller told Lusaka province Minister Bowman Lusambo.

Contributing to the Diamond Live programme this evening where Lusambo was the Guest, the Caller said Lusambo must take a chill and eat quietly. The Caller who identified herself as Elizaberth Choka told Lusambo to stop lying.

“Stop lying just eat quietly who are you for people to be following you,” Elizaberth told Lusambo.

This followed Lusambo’s claims that the crowds follow him wherever he goes because of the good works President Lungu. He said the people are happy with the development brought in by President Lungu.

Lusambo who was asked to comment on PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi’s directive to the Police to arrest Lusambo and Higher Education Minister Brian Mushimba for mobilising huge crowds during their campaigns against Covid-19 guidelines.

Addressing the press in Lusaka today, Mumbi Phiri asked the Police to take charge and arrest the two Ministers saying there was no one above the law. She said it was irresponsible of the two Ministers to act against the law. She also asked Police to act on the people using the president’s name ECL name as Vehicle Registration number.

Lusaambo refused to comment on Ms. Phiri’s directive saying it will be insubordination for him to respond to his Boss.
