Catholic Church wants Lungu and HH to reconcile

Lusaka’s St Ignatius Parish priest Charles Chilinda has urged President Edgar Lungu to reconcile with opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema.

And Archbishop Alick Banda has been tasked to spearhead the reconciliation process.

Father Chilinda says the stand-off between the two leaders has taken time and he now feels time has come to move a step forward.

He was speaking during the memorial service of the late President Michael Chilufya Sata.

Father Chilinda says it was in his church that Mr Sata reached out to President Levy Patrick Mwanawasa for them to reconcile.

  1. When you are not a Christian this is the end result, Pretence to too big in President Lungu . He pretends to be a god fearing person and yet what cooks in his heart is some thing any man’s imagination . Zambia is loved by God no one shall ever manipulate what God the Almighty has put for this country.
