Bridge breaks down in Mongu

Liande Bridge has broken down due to culverts that have been washed away by flood waters caused by heavy rains.

Reports from Nalikwanda Constituency in Mongu district indicate that residents have resolved to walk as some vehicles and oxcarts can nolonger use the crossing point.

Liande Bridge is one of the bridges that Mongu Municipal Council has earmarked for rehabilitation.
